Advent at Saint Sabina: Loving the World God So Loved...

  • Advent at Saint Sabina

    Advent at Saint Sabina

Christmas is the celebration of God's love for the world that gave us His only begotten Son. This Advent, we are asking all members to be actively involved in loving the world that God loves.

When you do these weekly, make sure you tell them you're doing it "in Name of Jesus - the reason for the season" and tell them, "God loves them!"

  • First Week of Advent: November 27 - December 3

First Week of Advent: November 27 - December 3

Throughout the week use the power of the tongue to speak words of life and encouragement to people you live with or come into contact with. Repair a broken relationship.

  • Second Week of Advent: December 4 - December 10

Second Week of Advent: December 4 - December 10

Do random acts of kindness for individuals during the week (e.g. Buy someone a cup of coffee, give someone a ride, repair projects, provide dinner, carry packages, etc.).

  • Third Week of Advent: December 11 - December 17

Third Week of Advent: December 11 - December 17

Make a special effort to speak to young people all week. Affirm them, ask them about their dreams and hopes. Tell them how special they are.

  • Fourth Week of Advent: December 18 - December 24

Fourth Week of Advent: December 18 - December 24

Send or place an anonymous Christmas card to someone and let them know God loves them.

The Faith Community of St. Sabina is a Word-based, Bible teaching church that believes in the power of praise and worship. We are a spiritual hospital where all are welcome and invited to "taste and see the goodness of the Lord."

Our purpose is to nurture and develop spiritually mature Christians who are trained leaders and who are not confined by the walls of the sanctuary, but can penetrate the world in order to present God's way of living as a divine option.
