During Advent, a Christmas Tree is in the sanctuary next to the pulpit. I again ask our members to bring gifts for our brothers and sisters who are homeless and who are in need.

Steps to Being a World Changer

  1. Take the Limits off of your speaking, thinking, doing and achieving. You are born to manifest the Glory of  God within you. It's time to do the radical and achieve the impossible.

  2. Get a revelation from God for your life and the world in which you live - your block/neighborhood, city, workplace. Revelation only comes through relationship with God.

  3. Believe what God tells you! God's word does not make sense, it makes faith.

  4. In order to acheive the radical you have to learn to let go of some things.

Scriptures: Psalm 102:13, 1 Corinthians 2:9 -10

An Advent Season Letter from Our Senior Pastor

Pastor-Letter-xmas-offering-2014-thumb

...Serving the people who turn to us for help and contnuing to be a beacon of hope in Chicago is costly...But I believe without a doubt that God has placed us here for this time to build His Kingdom... Between now and Christmas Day, sow a sacrificial seed into this ministry we call The Faith Community of Saint Sabina so we can continue the work of Kingdom building.

The Faith Community of St. Sabina is a Word-based, Bible teaching church that believes in the power of praise and worship. We are a spiritual hospital where all are welcome and invited to "taste and see the goodness of the Lord."

Our purpose is to nurture and develop spiritually mature Christians who are trained leaders and who are not confined by the walls of the sanctuary, but can penetrate the world in order to present God's way of living as a divine option.
