AMERICA IS IN DISTRESS!! 

A Request from Rev. Michael L. Pfleger to individuals, and organizations, churches schools and businesses across this country. Join Us in this call of distress. Fly a flag upside down to ask for a national response and demand A National Summit to address the Violence and killing of our children.

On May 5, 2009 , Rev. Michael Pfleger, Pastor of Saint Sabina Church,  raisedthe American Flag upside down on the flagpole in front of Saint Sabina Church and School, 7801 South Throop St., Chicago, IL 60620.

Rev. Pfleger said, “We just called national attention and alert to the “Swine Flu” possibility in America while we are ignoring the killing of our children reality in our country. Last weekend the 35th child, Alex Arellano, was killed by gun violence. It’s time for national attention to be given to gun violence and the killing of our children. America is in distress and it’s time she recognized it!”
