    Reverend Dr. Marcus D. Cosby serves as the Senior Pastor of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. He holds the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and English from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee; the Master of Divinity Degree in Homiletics and Christian Education from Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia; and the Doctor of Ministry Degree in Homiletics from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary of the Associated Chicago Theological Schools (ACTS).


    Dr. Cosby is as a member of the Board of the Samuel Dewitt Proctor Conference; the African American Pulpit, a scholarly journal that highlights the preaching prowess of African-American preachers across the country; the Home Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. and the Houston Area Urban League. He has served on the Board of Directors of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, the Texas Commission for Community Service and Volunteerism, and as an Advisory Board Member of The Gardner C. Taylor Preaching Archives and Listening Room in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity and the NAACP.

    Dr. Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr. is Senior Pastor of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church.  Since his return to the Bethel Church in 1995, the ministry has grown to over 9,000 disciples, almost tripling in size.  Dr. McKissick and his father, Dr. Rudolph McKissick, Sr. have developed a model ministry for partnering in the pastorate, as they both share as Senior Pastors of this the oldest Baptist church in the state of Florida.  Under this leadership, the church has continued to stay on the cutting edge of Kingdom ministry while maintaining the traditions that have made this ministry what it has been through the annals of time.

    Rev. Reginald W. Williams Jr. is the first of three children born to Dr. Reginald Sr. and the late Atty. Marcelle H. Williams.  He was born and raised in Chicago, IL, into a family, which acknowledged and affirmed a spirituality that serves God by serving God’s people, particularly in the cause of liberation. ...


    In November of 1998, Rev. Williams acknowledged and accepted God’s Call on his life to Christian ministry, and enrolled at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in the fall of 1999. He completed this program and received his Master of Divinity degree on May 11, 2002. Upon the completion of his degree requirements at Virginia Union University, Rev. Williams, was called to serve the Trinity United Church of Christ under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr., as the Associate Pastor for Justice Ministries.  In September of 2008, Rev. Williams was called to serve as pastor of the First Baptist Church of University Park, IL.
