Let’s rewind the clock and relive some of our favorite memories from years ago, when St. Sabina transforms its gymnasium back to a roller skating rink for a day. For several decades, families from across the city of Chicago would come to St. Sabina for its popular roller skating parties.

It’s only fitting that we celebrate St. Sabina’s 100th Anniversary by having one final skating event in honor of this commemorative occasion.

Join us on Saturday, June 25th from 2pm - 6pm for the St. Sabina’s Throw Back Family Skate Jam

Between this past Friday night and Monday morning, seven people were killed and 32 people were shot in the streets of Chicago. Just last night, a 6 year old girl became another innocent victim of a drive by shooting. Our children deserve the right to grow up!

We are calling for every resident to take charge of their community and take action by joining us on Friday, June 17th for our annual End of the School Year March at 7pm at St. Sabina Church. The first 600 people who arrive will receive a free t-shirt.

Let your voice be heard, and stand with us for peace in our streets.

Coming from humble beginnings as a storefront church, St. Sabina went from nearly closing its doors in 1975, to developing into a dynamic church on the Southside of Chicago that has helped to transform the community, influence state laws, and change the lives of countless people across the nation.

On July 9, 2016, The Faith Community of St. Sabina will celebrate 100 years of making history!

We invite you to take a journey with us over the next several months as we reflect on the rich history of St. Sabina’s past, we highlight the dynamics works that God is presently doing through St. Sabina, and we announce some of the exciting new initiatives that St. Sabina will launch as we enter into the next century of discipleship.

On Saturday, July 9th, St. Sabina celebrated its 100th Year Anniversary, with a Day of Service. Hundreds of volunteers from the church and community gave back to Chicago through volunteering at over 50 different locations in Auburn Gresham and across Chicago by cleaning up empty lots, feeding the homeless, assisting the elderly, painting murals, and planting gardens in the community. Here's what it means to be the hands and feet of the body of Christ.
